Rich Hickey (@richhickey), the man behind Clojure gives us a grand overview behind a new kind of database called Datomic. It is a database whose data is immutable and its information model incorporates time. It is a distributed database that does not sacrifice transactions and consistency unlike other key-value based databases. Quite a compelling watch.
